Casamonti was one of the farms that preserved the Cinta Senese pig breed. The juveniles often came over to greet us as we loaded up the car.
"The Road" became a curse. We had to abandon any idea of riding directly from our door as soon as we saw the condition of this .6 km mine field.
Casamonti is a vineyard, olive orchard and pig farm.
